HOW TO HIRE FOR MINISTRY

The Book

So many pastors don’t have a playbook for interviewing new candidates for their team. This book is my effort to solve that problem. We all want to have pastors and ministry leaders on staff who are great to work with, have integrity, share our values, people with innovative minds and a pastor’s heart… and the list goes on. But, that’s a lot to think through when someone is ready to be interviewed for a staff position at your church. I wanted to give you a tool that I’ve been working on for years.

Now, you can have a document that you can reference! You can read this simple book, even a day before (or even the morning of) the interview to get a good handle on what to look for in the pastoral candidate. You can print the free Interview Questions PDF and use them in the interview! This way you ask everything that should be asked in an interview for a ministry position. There’s also an online form that you can use to complete regarding your notes on each candidate.

It’s much easier to hire the right person than to fire the wrong one. Here’s your tool for hiring the right people for your ministry team!

The Bible indicates that the 5 fold ministry leaders are to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. In most cases, you don’t want to hire a “doer.” Instead, you want to hire an equiper! This eBook and the online tools will enable you to do just that, and if you use them, you’ll create a team that multiplies their impact and expands God’s Kingdom! Remember, you should be well-balanced; your team should be.
