Walking In Love

You know I don’t remember walking ever being cumbersome or difficult. Well, there was that one time when a girl stole the ball off me in a soccer game in Bible college and I sprained my ankle. My foot and entire ankle was black and blue - half way up my shin! I don’t know what was more bruised though, my foot or my ego. That girl was good!

Ephesians 5:1-2 (NIV)
“Follow God’s example therefore as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

It’s interesting that God spirit through the apostle Paul prefaces this command to walk in love with this identification of us as his “dearly loved children”
What this tells me is that loved people love people. Sure we’ve all heard the phrase that hurt people hurt people and man oh man is that true! But the scripture tells me that loved people love people. The word of God tells me that when we understand how deeply we are loved by our father God it enables us to show love to others!

Is walking in love difficult for you latley? Maybe you need to receive Father Gods love afresh today.
